This weekend my family celebrated my Brother, Kody’s 24th Birthday and Father’s day for my dad and my brother Brandon.
My dad is a guy who likes cars and for some weird reason likes working on them. He has a few collectors, a 1957 Chevy Belair, 1969 Mach 1 Fastback, 1973 Dodge Challenger,1970 Dodge Challenger, and a couple Plymouth GTX’s. Some of them are featured in my portfolio and other have not yet been photographed, you can view some images below. 🙂
Kody is a guy who also likes to work on cars and trucks, he build houses for a living and also attends local beard competitions, I’m just kidding about the beard competitions. These images were shot at 135mm f/2 ISO 125, 1/200th with an Einstein E640 strobe mounted to a Photoflex 3ft Octodome and Grid. If you want to get dad or someone you know an image that truly captures their spirit, give me a call!
The above image is of my dad, surprising as it is he does not hesitate to jump in front of the camera and give a great smile.
The above image is Kody who doesn’t actually like me taking his photo, but he has a bear, and I don’t so I take photos of him and his beard when I can.
These images below show the lighting modifier that I used to light the above portraits. It is a 3ft OctoDome from Photoflex, and this light is my favorite for any portrait or headshot that I shoot.
