Today… Well yesterday actually I was able to get out and capture some photographs just for fun.
The reason was because I was purchasing some photography calibration gear from my friend Amber who is another Spokane based photographer. I purchased an X-rite colorChecker Passport as well as Display Profiler. These two things will help me calibrate to more accurate colors when shooting in mixed light or even studio strobe that is relatively the same.
The photograph above was taken at Finch Arboretum in the afternoon around 2pm. It shot it using my Canon 60D and 24-105MM USM IS lens (50mm ISO200 f/4 @1/250th).What you see here is not actually little stems of the plant. rather frost that has peeled away from the plant and curled to looks like stems. It was actually really neat to see such a thing, I stayed there for a while as I don’t often get out and photograph just for fun.
I hope that you enjoyed this Bog post, feel free to like and share.
